| Surprise, surprise--Democrats are the true patriots |
Someday someone is going to have to explain to me how a party that screams righteously about its patriotism and sings to the heavens about putting American first can be so beholden to leaders who aren't American and couldn't care less about Americans or our nation's well-being.
News this week that republicans give higher favorability ratings to Russia's Vladimir Putin than Joe Biden isn't surprising, but should give us all serious pause as to just how much republicans actually love America. Talking out of both sides of their mouths seems to be a trait republicans have perfected.
Frankly, you can wear your Make America Great Again hat 24/7, 365 days a years but when you pay homage to a murderous Russian dictator and America's fiercest nemesis, it rings incredibly hollow.
