Just try and digest this: twelve million Americans believe our country is being run by lizard people in suits.
I know that's only slightly above 3% of our population, but for fuck's sake there was a time when the number of Americans believing such nonsense was small enough to make a for a guest appearance on an entertaining episode of The X-Files.
I truly try to stay hopeful for the future of this country, but I've got to tell you it's getting harder and harder every day.
