Just wonderin'...
A recent poll from Quinnipiac shows that 16% of Tea Party members describe themselves as Democrats or Independent leaning Democrat. I just have one simple question: what fucking alternate universe Democratic party do these fucking people belong to? For fuck's sake, there is absolutely nothing the Tea Partiers subscribe to that even comes close to what those of us in the Democratic party believe.
Apparently there are some people out there who really don't pay much attention to political platforms....

I recently listened to an audiobook called "True Enough," highly recommended whether you read it or whether you listen to it, that said that someone in 2004 said Kerry lost places of Florida that were highly Democratic, so clearly there was tampering in the elections. BUT only without context was that the case. In reality, the "Dems" were Dixiecrats who were still registered Democrats (apparently the South really can't get over this Civil War thing) but tended to vote GOP. I'd guess that's the case with the so-called Dems who are Tea Partiers. Just a guess, though. Maybe I'm giving people too much credit.
