Apparently there's a lot of rich folk seeking handouts...

The state of New Jersey under Democratic Governor Phil Murphy has created a task force to study corporate tax breaks...which has found--surprise, surprise!--that corporate tax breaks result in lots of our taxpayer dollars being given to corporations with very little in return for the public good.

In the maelstrom that is the Trump administration, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that not all issues resonate at the national level, and that a lot of good work is being done by Democrats at the state and local levels to make this nation a better place for us all.

It would do us all well to remember come November of 2020 that Donald Trump is not the only corrupt idol that needs to be felled--a lot of victories in local elections can lead to a lot of victories for those of us who don't have both hands stuffed in taxpayer filled cookie jars.
