Thanks to President Biden's executive orders, nearly 70,000 federal workers will immediately start to earn $15 an hour beginning Sunday, and 300,000 employees of federal contractors will start to see a raise to $15 an hour reflected in their paychecks over the course of the year.

You've got to fight to make what's right
ICYMI: The top 1% (and particularly the top 0.1%) saw huge, disproportionate wage increases in 2020. Inequality is marching on in this pandemic, and we need policies like the PRO Act to halt and reverse these trends.https://t.co/voWxAHoXsE

Just one more media failure
Democrats:
— Jeff Tiedrich (@itsJeffTiedrich) November 6, 2021
— $1.2 trillion infrastructure package
— 200 million vaccinations
— 5 million jobs
— unemployment down to 4.6%
— wages up $2 an hour
— Dow at all-time high
Republicans:
— came up with a thing to call Joe Biden

Hey brother, can you spare a dime?

| Pretty much what republicans think your labor is worth |
Because I can goddamn guarantee that had Democrats controlled both houses while Barack Obama was President it would have been raised by now.
How anyone can vote for a candidate who thinks $7.25 an hour is an acceptable wage is beyond me.
Fuck Donald Trump,

Labor Unions = More Money
A few fascinating facts on my favorite holiday of the year:
And a link to one of my favorite union songs, "We Have Fed You All a Thousand Years" (truer words, my friends!) by Utah Phillips:
Happy Labor Day, Everyone!

- Black Americans in unions earn 16.4% more than their non-union counterparts.
- White men in unions earn 20.1% more than their non-union counterparts.
- Women in unions earn 30.9% more than their non-union counterparts.
- A new study shows that not only do labor unions get more money for their members, they set a standard that gets more money for everyone.
