Sit down and shut the fuck up

Pretty much says it all for me

Mark Cuban decided he hasn't made enough idiotic remarks in his lifetime so he went on some lame-ass interview program and proclaimed that Elizabeth Warren, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Bernie Sanders would feel much differently about wealth distribution if they had been as successful as he has in the business world, all the while belittling their business acumen.

No, no they wouldn't.  Warren, Ocasio-Cortez, and Sanders have all shown again and again that, unlike Mark Cuban, they actually give a shit about their fellow Americans.  And also unlike Cuban, they built their political careers on fighting for average Americans and were elected for their policies in favor of average Americans (unlike Cuban who, should he decide on a political career, would be elected much like Donald Trump was because he can buy his election).

While Cuban did note that income inequality is a problem and needs to be dealt with, he offered zero in the way of ideas as to how to combat it.  What a surprise from the man whose response to sexual harassment within the Dallas Mavericks (Cuban owns the team) organization was to bury his head in the sand.

Frankly, after sixty years on this planet I've pretty much had it with rich assholes telling me how the world should be...especially when it completely revolves around their greed.

There's no business like snow business

Been there, done that...

One of the great lessons learned from the 2000's was that Corporate America and Wall Street weren't quite the well-oiled machines far too many Americans had thought they were--and one of the great lessons we can learn from electing the orange clown is for all those clown lovers on the right who have been screaming for years that we should run government like a business:  we are right now and it isn't pretty (here in Michigan we have been running the experiment for almost seven years now and what we have are thousands of poisoned children in Flint, a middling economy, crony capitalism, and a new corruption scandal every other day).  Businesses are run by bullying tyrants who don't have to answer to voters and don't have their every move scrutinized by the press and the American people--and it's easy to see why the orange clown is pissed off on a regular basis.

When we don't like what he's doing, we can tell him to fuck off--and he can't fire all of us.  Plutocracy ain't all it's cracked up to be.

When I was in college I was a business major for one semester (Zzzzz--enough of that!), and among the first words a professor I had spoke to us was that business was in business to make money,  Government is in place to take care of the needs to its people--and ne'er the twain shall meet.

Electing a businessman to run America was never going to turn out well--electing a failed one (numerous times) was always going to make it that much worse.

One hopes enough eyes will be opened and we don't make this mistake again (see also, Mark Cuban).

He's making a list

The Democrats are coming!

Apparently the Trump team is already making a list of scary candidates they may face in the 2020 Presidential election, and the top four names now are Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown (pretty please?), Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy (not too bad), Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (no clue), and Trump wannabe Mark Cuban (I have a better chance of being the Democratic nominee--and if he runs as an independent, we win).

Keeping in mind that the scariest candidate of all would be Elizabeth Warren (likely not running), but considering Trump's historic disapproval ratings and rank incompetence thus far, shouldn't their list also include any American over the age of 35 who can walk and chew gum at the same time?

Cuban delusional crisis

Mark Cuban told an interviewer this week that he's not going to run for President in 2016.

Well I'm glad he cleared that up--because so fucking many Americans have just been clamoring for him to enter the race.

What the fuck is up with that?  He seriously had to tell us he wasn't going to run?  Like we all don't know he knows absolutely nothing about domestic policy or foreign policy and belongs in the White House about as much as my youngest son's cat?  That there already isn't a billionaire buffoon running in 2016?

What is it about being a billionaire that can make someone so fucking delusional?

And I'm supposed to give a fuck because?

Now I fully understand that AOL News is to journalism what hopscotch is to baseball, but apparently someone at AOL News thought that our election season wouldn't be complete if they didn't inform us of what Mark Cuban thought of the current republican campaigns for the Presidency.  Now I appreciate that Cuban is a billionaire and that he has a lame ass TV show, but whereas other billionaires like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates or Warren Buffet have spent their time after becoming wealthy trying to make the world a better place or improving upon their brand, Cuban has spent his time becoming a first class buffoon.

All of which leaves me wondering:  If most of us don't care what Bozo the Clown or the village idiot thinks of the republican candidates, what nitwit at AOL News thought we'd give a fuck what Mark Cuban thinks?

I mean I know that today is a slow news day but give me a fucking break.

Peace,
