Florida election records show Donald, Melania, and Barron Trump all voted by mail in the Florida HD-87 special election. This is despite the fact that Trump calls voting by mail "cheating" and is trying to significantly restrict voting by mail in his SAVE America Act.

Trump wants to get rid of mail-in ballots so he can intimidate voters with federal troops stationed at the polling stations. Hard to scare people who can just quietly mail in their votes. Protect mail-in voting at all cost.

 Donald Trump this week:  "Any effort to dictate national Mail-in voting will be a disaster for our Country and for conservatism.  There will never be a Republican elected to high office again."

As if this would be bad, considering a) Reagan's disastrous economic policies which led ultimately to the greatest income inequality in the history of this country and doubled the poverty rate, b) George W. Bush led us into two disastrous wars and brought us the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression, and c) Trump himself oversaw 600,000 American deaths because of his incompetence during the coronavirus which also led to the second massive economic crisis perpetrated by a republican President in twelve years.

As far as I'm concerned, if mail-in voting will guarantee no more republicans in high office, we should hand deliver ballots to every American door and come back later to each one of them and collect those ballots so we never have another republican in office ever.

We'd all be much better off for it.

I'm in no way advocating it, but I firmly believe if people on the left believe Donald Trump wins this election because of cheating (specifically sabotaging the Postal Service) the violence we saw this past summer in the protests spotlighting racial injustice are going to seem like the jolly holiday Mary and Bert went on in the movie Mary Poppins.

We're pretty much going to believe the country is done for anyway, so there's no good reason not to burn the motherfucker down.

Donald Trump's Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said on CNN's State of the Union yesterday that somehow having no proof of voting fraud was proof of...voting fraud?

That would merit serious consideration for stupidest idea ever espoused by a republican.

Of course by that logic, I suppose I could say that because republicans think Donald Trump is doing a good job it's proof he's doing a bad job so we should all vote for Joe Biden.
