Breaking: Hitler endorses Trump!

Shout, shout, let it all out...

As regular readers (both of you) know, I am no fan of Joe Biden's candidacy for the Democratic nomination for President, but when the Trump administration this week trotted out lying sack of shit Sarah Huckabee Sanders to tell the American people that Korean despot Kim Jong Un agreed with Donald Trump's assessment that Biden would be a poor national leader, well, it was just a little more than I could stomach.

Kim Jong Un, it is estimated, through executions (100,000), concentration camps (1.5 million), and famine brought about by his administration's draconian economic policies (500,000) has murdered 2.1 million of his people.  That the White House spokesperson is citing him to support the President's viewpoint IS NOT FUCKING NORMAL, PEOPLE!

And a big shout out to our national media for reacting to a murderous dictator being used to prop up a flailing Donald Trump as it if were just another day in paradise.

A look at Donald Trump's soul...

Though he's tried to walk it back since (and good luck with that), Donald Trump's response that he believed Kim Jong Un when he said he didn't know what happened to Otto Warmbier (American intelligence agencies have concluded that he was basically tortured to death by North Korean authorities--for stealing a poster) shows just how craven and amoral he truly is.  For as bad of a President as George W. Bush was, does anyone believe for a minute he would have sided with a man who runs his nation like a concentration camp?

And for his claims to have been misrepresented, they're just so much bullshit.  He's so obsessed with impressing the Nobel committee that he wouldn't say shit if Kim gave him a mouthful because Kim might shut down the talks in a pique of anger...oops, too late.  News flash:  the Nobel committee doesn't give Peace Prizes to people who claim Nazis are good people, blow up the Iran deal, destroy decades old unions with Europe, and fellate murderous tyrants like Vladimir Putin.

Can you imagine the pain he caused the Warmbier family siding with the man who had their son beaten to death?  I went to the Merriam Webster web site to look for synonyms for inhuman and was unable to find anything that matched the depths to which Trump has abased us all.

Anyone still thinking that Donald Trump has the interests of ordinary Americans at heart can quickly disregard those thoughts.

Donald Trump this week called his supporters the smartest and most loyal in American history.

Because, you know, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-Un are both fine men who have America's best interest at heart (mass murderers...wha?).  Those good factory jobs are just around the corner (two years and waiting...).  That swamp--consider it drained (Scott Pruitt--nothing to see here!).  And he's a fine role model for Christians (Stormy weather...).

As for their loyalty, our very own Gestapo, ICE, separates children from their parents merely because of the color of their skin (and don't shit yourself, that is the reason), one can't help but be reminded that Hitler had plenty of loyal supporters as Jews were separated from their children at Auschwitz and Buchenwald and Dachau....

Trump supporters are neither smart nor loyal.  They're gullible dupes who have been sucked into a mindless cult that is making America anything but great.

This idea that Donald Trump, who couldn't count his testicles and come up with the right number (it's two, Donald), is somehow going to broker peace on the Korean peninsula may rank in the history of misguided ideas second only to the now long disproved idea that the earth is flat.

That a man who has no knowledge of foreign policy or the history of the two Koreas and no desire to have any is going to succeed where men and women who have spent careers studying them have failed is beyond ludicrous.  It's akin to tossing car keys to a kindergartner and pronouncing he'll win the Indianapolis 500.

The spectrum of possibilities for Trump concerning North Korea run from getting played by Kim Jong Un (probably already happening) and further eroding the world's trust in the U.S. to be a force for stabilization to an utterly disastrous war that will kill millions.

Which leads us all to hoping against hope that Trump merely embarrasses us.

A handful of republican bozos in the House of Representatives have nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end the Korean War (...pause to let the laughter die down...).  This has caused some hand wringing on the left, but it really shouldn't:  the Nobel committee didn't give a Peace Prize to Hitler, or Stalin, or Mao, or Pol Pot, or Idi Amin...and they're not giving one to Donald Trump, either.

The Peace Prize committee gives its award to people and organizations that inspire and uplift us, and to those who give us hope.  Never in its history has it given one to a hateful asshole.

And they are not about to break that tradition for a hateful asshole like Donald Trump.

While most of my brain thinks the American military will be prescient enough to cut Donald Trump down at the knees with his threat to unleash "fire and fury like the world has never seen" on North Korea, there's also a part that thinks America has finally jumped the shark and is now living in Nutsville and they just might be crazy enough to let the orange clown do it.  Still, after I read his comments yesterday the first two thoughts I had were...a) do we have enough food in the house to survive for a few days if it does happen (yes), and b) if the dumb bastard decides to do it while I'm at work, how the hell will I get home in all the chaos (no fucking clue).

Really, what does it say that after 58 years on this planet I'm contemplating scenarios that I've never considered before , under any President, even the doddering old fool Reagan and the imbecilic George W. Bush?

What the fuck, squared exponentially

Dennis Rodman was a fine basketball player.  He was never one of my favorites, but he had a good career, and deserves his Hall of Fame status.  He is also a world class freak--it's not my cup of tea, but if he could make a few bucks by seeing how many metal objects he can ram through the skin on various parts of his face, competing with the Illustrated Man for most tattoos in world history, or wearing a wedding dress and marrying Elvira (or whoever the fuck it was he married), good for him.

Near as I can tell, though, Dennis Rodman does not have any bona fides in foreign relations, didn't major in foreign policy in college, and hasn't written any articles on foreign affairs, ever.  So can someone please explain to me why anyone, most especially The Ed Show and The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, waste two seconds of their viewers' time with a piece on his paid promotional trip to North Korea?  I mean for fuck's sake, I don't know much about the particulars of U.S. policy toward North Korea, but I know enough to know that a dildo head like Dennis Rodman knows absolutely nothing and should receive zero attention for his thoughts on the nation and its leader, Kim Jong Un.

It's one thing to point at a guy so hard up for exposure that he'd fellate a donkey on The Tonight Show, and a complete mockery to give air time to an idiot talking about a country that is in a class unto itself for its mistreatment of its people, especially its widespread famine and brutal torturing of thousands of political prisoners.
