Big corporations are not on our side

Tesla doesn't recongise Trade Unions. Apple doesn't recognise unions. Amazon is anti-union. McDonald's is anti-union. Starbucks is anti-union. Google is anti-union. Walmart is anti-union. The big corporations are not on your side.

Bribery in plain sight

Amazon, Apple, Comcast, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, Union Pacific Railroad. They all shoveled money to Trump's ballroom — and could win big from friendly treatment from the admin on active antitrust deals and lawsuits. Is this bribery in plain sight? I'm pressing for answers.

Picture me, banging my head against a wall

So the President, rightfully concerned about unemployment, decided to convene a meeting with the leaders of...wait for it...corporate America.   Yup, Apple (bang), Boeing (bang, bang), and Wal-Mart (bang, bang, bang, bang....), among others, are being asked how to cure unemployment and help the long-term unemployed.

One supposes that when the President is concerned about global warming he'll meet with Exxon Mobil and BP, and when he's concerned about gun control he'll meet with Smith and Wesson and Remington.

Some days I really wish I'd devoted this blog to baseball.
