Turns out the folks at QAnon are right--pedophiles are taking over the American government.  With Donald Trump's choice of Amy Coney Barrett, a radical religious zealot in a Catholic initiated cult, for the open Supreme Court seat in light of Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death, pedophiles--in the form of a woman who takes her marching orders from the Catholic Church--will be in positions of power in the United States.

From 1950 through 2018, over 20,000 credible cases of sexual abuse have been brought against Catholic priests and nuns, many of which went unreported for years to save the Church from multitudinous lawsuits.

It's one thing to be a member of the Catholic Church, but no one espousing that we all must follow the teachings of an organization that has done such a poor job of taking care of its children should be anywhere near any political position, let alone the Supreme Court.

 I have no idea if the above is a Jamaican Proverb or not, but I just picked out this image because I figured the idea that it came from a bunch of black, ganja smoking, dreadlock wearing mother fuckers would piss republicans off even more than they already are....

Anyhoo, Donald Trump was gloating today and said of his upcoming Supreme Court candidate that "When you have the votes you can sort of do what you want..." and my first thought was how nice it was of Trump's staff to do the counting for him since trying to count to two to calculate the number of his over abundant ass cheeks would be beyond his I.Q.

My second thought was, "Not for long, mother fucker!"

First on our agenda, Mitch...

Isn't this rich?  After running roughshod over the Senate since he took over as Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell is now advising Democrats that should they win control of the Senate not to get rid of the filibuster.  Something about staying in the middle of the road...a lane McConnell has studiously avoided his entire political career.

I don't want to get ahead of myself because there's still four months until election day and the Senate races could tilt back toward republicans, but here's hoping that if we do win the first task Chuck Schumer undertakes is to tell Mitch McConnell to go fuck himself.
