Wow. DOJ has launched a criminal investigation of Fed chair Jerome Powell over testimony to Congress on renovation costs. In this video, Powell says the move is purely pretextual, and arises from the Fed’s refusal to implement Trump’s wishes in place of its own best judgment on interest rates.
