Trump's as bad at golf as he is at leading

 Russia has hacked our nuclear weapons systems and over three thousand Americans are dying every day from COVID-19, and Donald Trump is...playing golf and trying to decide which sexual deviants and/or traitors to America he wants to pardon.

The Presidency has never been anything more to Donald Trump than a way to make money and have sycophants bolster his fragile and timid ego.  Caring about people is beyond his mental abilities.

Perhaps it's time to change the amount of time a lame duck President is given after being defeated--Trump is not discharging the duties of the office and the American people deserve someone who will earn his pay.  I'd suggest swearing in the new President on December 1st, with a formal Inauguration ceremony sometime after the first of the year.

Because God knows Trump continued a lifelong trend and never earned one dollar he got from being our worst President ever.  The American people shouldn't have to pay their hard earned dollars so he can loaf during his final months.

If you're a republican these days, absolutely fucking no one--they've sold those souls for the thirty pieces of silver that is Donald Trump.

Though republican hypocrisy knows no bounds and they are sure to ignore it, and though the national media is sure to remain as oblivious as ever, republicans can no longer claim the moral high ground in two areas:  patriotism and God.

It's going to be hard for republicans to wave the flag and tell us how much they love America when they are willing to sit idly by so they can enact their survival of the fittest agenda knowing full well that Russia did everything it could to influence the Presidential election of 2016.  Though Sarah Palin can see it from her front porch, I'm pretty sure that Russia is not America and most certainly has its citizens (well, at least that pig Vladimir Putin), and not ours, best interests at heart.

And it should be even harder to claim they're doing God's work when they elected a man who used hatred as a central platform of his campaign..  You don't get to claim Jesus' mantle when you spout hateful rhetoric towards Americans for the color of their skin (Latinos, African-Americans) or their religion (Muslims, just about anyone else who isn't a white Christian).  I'm damn certain that Jesus never said "Hate your neighbor as yourself."

And here's hoping the republican party suffers the same as their new paragon, Judas Iscariot:  that it ends up hanging itself while the rest of us go on to try and build a better world.

Absolutely un-American

A paragon of today's republican party

 The second most important story in America right now (the first being the Vladimir Putin lead Russian hacks that influenced our election) is what's happening in North Carolina--where the republican party is working overtime to pass legislation to usurp the will of the people by stripping powers from the newly elected Governor (Roy Cooper--who just happens to be a Democrat) and the State Supreme Court (which the Democrats just happened to win the majority in last November's election), and giving said powers to the republican controlled legislature and republican controlled lower courts.

As if it's not bad enough that republicans are more than happy to let a foreign nation dictate our elections, they are now willing to overturn the will of the voting public in their never ending grab for power.

I say this without the slightest hint of hyperbole--these actions are the most un-American, unpatriotic, and treasonous we've seen since Benedict Arnold sold his soul to the Redcoats.
