I tried to spend the equivalent of Trump’s proposed military budget. Globally, I eliminated hunger & extreme poverty; in the US, I ended homelessness, covered the uninsured, installed universal pre-K, sent another round of $600 checks, & powered 50% of households with solar. I have $77B left over.

A quick way for DOGE to cut over $1.3 Trillion in spending: Gun safety laws save $557 billion. Universal healthcare with Medicare for All saves $650 billion. Ending fossil fuel subsidies save $20 billion. Cutting contractor profit from the military budget saves over $80 billion. Start there.
